Hamed Kazemipoor is a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, and holds a doctorate in industrial engineering. Kazemipoor’s research uses mathematical modelling, fuzzy sets and simulation for problems including sustainable closed-loop supply chain design, vehicle routing and location-routing, integrated production and distribution scheduling, facility layout under uncertainty, aircraft maintenance routing and open-pit mine truck dispatching. Earlier work by Kazemipoor addressed machine partitioning in tandem automated guided vehicle systems and multi-skilled project scheduling with metaheuristics.
