Sattar Jedari Salami is an associate professor of mechanical engineering at Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, where Jedari Salami has also served as deputy for research and technology. Jedari Salami earned master’s and doctoral degrees in mechanical engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, with a doctoral thesis on sandwich beams with elastic-plastic cores. Jedari Salami’s research covers sandwich and composite structures, functionally graded and graphene-nanoplatelet-reinforced plates modelled with full layerwise finite elements, low-velocity impact, 3D-printed lattice and minimal-surface structures, and a gripper-equipped robotic system for handling medical syringes.
